Booking

It all depends on how much time you have. The 3-Island Tour lasts half a day and goes to the Blue Lagoon, Šolta, and Drvenik. It's a good choice if you don't have much time or want to keep your afternoons free. The 4-Island Tour lasts all day and includes lunch. It goes to Brač, the Pakleni Islands, Hvar, and Šolta. The 5-Island Tour is also a full day, but it focuses on Vis, the Blue Cave, Stiniva, Budikovac, and Hvar. This is the tour for you if you want to see the Blue Cave.

You can make a reservation on our website, by email at info@onedayescape.eu, or by phone or WhatsApp at +385 99 209 3064. Viator, GetYourGuide, and Bokun are also ways to make reservations with us. You will get an email with all the information once your payment is confirmed.

In July and August, tours often fill up several days ahead. Booking 3 to 5 days in advance is a safe bet during peak season. Outside of summer, last-minute availability is more common, but we still recommend booking at least a day ahead so we can plan crew and supplies.

The youngest person who can go on a group tour is 3 years old. Most tours let kids under 4 go for free. You can take kids of any age on a private charter because the boat is only for you.

We can only fit 12 people on our boats. We can send out more than one boat at the same time if your group is bigger. Get in touch with us directly, and we'll work out the details.

Payment and pricing

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cash in Euros, and bank transfers for larger bookings. Our booking system safely processes card payments.

When you book a group tour, you have to pay in full. Private charters need a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation, with the rest due 7 days before departure or upon arrival for last-minute bookings.

The cost of a group tour is per person. The price for a private charter is for the whole boat, no matter how many guests you bring, up to 12.

Full-day tours (4-Island and 5-Island) include lunch at a waterfront restaurant. You won't get lunch on a half-day tour, so plan to eat before or after.

No. The entrance fee is about €15 per person and must be paid at the cave. Not us, but the local government that controls access to the cave gets this fee. You won't have to pay if the cave is closed because of bad weather or sea conditions.

Cancellation and changes

You can get a full refund for group tours if you cancel up to 24 hours before the trip. If you cancel within 24 hours or don't show up, you won't get your money back. The rules for private charters are different. If you cancel more than 14 days in advance, you will get a full refund minus a €50 administration fee. If you cancel between 7 and 14 days in advance, you will get 50% of your money back. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, you will not get a refund.

Safety is always the most important thing. The tour will be cancelled or moved to another day if the captain thinks the weather is too bad. You can either get your money back or reschedule for free. We check the weather report the morning of the trip and will call you as soon as we can if there is a problem.

The Blue Cave is sometimes closed because the sea at its entrance is too rough to safely get in. The local government on Biševo makes this choice, not us. The tour goes on to all the other stops even if the cave is closed. There is no refund for cave closure because the tour still goes on.

Yes. Changes made more than 48 hours before departure are free, as long as there is space. If you make changes within 48 hours, they will be seen as a cancellation and a new booking, so normal cancellation fees may apply.

That day

All tours start at Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda on Split's Riva promenade. Your confirmation email will have the exact meeting place and GPS coordinates. You can find our crew in One Day Escape clothes; they will be there before the departure time.

Please get there 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. This gives you time to find the meeting place, check in with the crew, and get on board without being in a hurry.

Please call or WhatsApp us right away at +385 99 209 3064. Group tours have set times and can't wait long because there are other people on board. We will do what we can, but if you miss the boat, you won't be able to get your money back.

Wear your swimsuit under your clothes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a light layer for the boat since it gets windy at speed. Comfortable shoes help if you plan to walk around towns like Hvar. Bring some cash for drinks, Blue Cave entry, and souvenirs.

No. Towels, masks, snorkels, and fins are included on all tours.

Yes. You can bring snacks and drinks on board. On all of our tours, we give out water and soft drinks. You can bring extra food with you on full-day tours, but lunch is included.

About our boats

We have a fleet of Colnago speedboats that were made just for us. These boats are not like regular tour boats. Each one is made for day trips along the Dalmatian coast. They have an aluminium hull that handles waves well and makes for a smooth ride. The boats are 12 metres long and have 500 horsepower engines, which makes them fast and stable.

Yeah. Every boat has a Bimini canopy over the deck and an enclosed, air-conditioned cabin where you can escape the sun completely. If you want to get a tan, there is also a sundeck in the back.

Yes. All of our boats have a toilet on board, which is a big help on longer trips. A lot of tour boats in the area don't have this.

Yes. All boats have free Wi-Fi, so you can share pictures and videos as you go.

Yes, there are USB charging ports on board.

There can be no more than 12 people on each boat for group tours. We want to keep the number low on purpose. It means more space on deck, more time in the water at each stop, and more personal attention from the crew.

Swimming and other things

You don't have to know how to swim, but it would help. Anyone who wants one can get a life jacket on board. At many stops, the water is shallow enough for you to wade instead of swim. If you don't feel safe in the water, you can stay on the boat and enjoy the view.

Of course. We give you good masks, snorkels, and fins, not the cheap ones that break or leak. Before each trip, the gear is cleaned and checked.

Depending on the tour and the weather, you will usually have 30 minutes to an hour at each swimming stop. The crew will tell you how long you have before the boat leaves.

Kids and families

Yes, of course. Families love going on our tours. You have to be at least 3 years old to go on a group tour. Most tours let kids under 4 ride for free.

Yes. All of our boats have life jackets that fit kids.

Yes. Kids can wear life jackets in the water, and they don't have to swim. A lot of spots have shallow areas where younger kids can splash around. Parents must always keep an eye on their kids.

Private charters

When you go on a group tour, you share the boat with other people and follow a set schedule. When you book a private charter, you get the boat and crew all to yourself for the day. You can also choose your own route, timing, and stops.

The cost depends on the boat, how long you want to stay, and where you want to go. Send us an email at info@onedayescape.eu with what you need, and we'll send you a quote.

Yes. You can visit almost any part of the Dalmatian coast that our boats can reach and that you have booked time for. The captain will help you plan a great day and tell you what's possible.

Yes, of course. Private charters are ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, and other special events. We can help you get champagne, decorations, or other special things.

Taxi on the water

Yes. We offer water taxi rides between Split and the islands every day of the week, 24 hours a day. It takes about 45 minutes to get from Split to Hvar. It takes about 30 minutes to get from Split to Brač. Get in touch with us to find out about prices and availability.

Yes. If you are staying on Hvar or another island and don't want to take the ferry, the water taxi is a quick and easy way to get there. We can pick you up in Split and take you anywhere you need to go.

Price depends on destination and boat type. Contact us for a custom quote — rates are per boat, not per person, making it cost-effective for groups.

24-48 hours is ideal, but same-day bookings are often possible. For peak season or airport transfers, book earlier.

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, the transfer is rescheduled or refunded. The Colnago 40 with enclosed cabin handles rougher seas better than open boats.

Each boat can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers. Larger groups need a second boat.

Usually Riva promenade (Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda). Other locations can be arranged.
